I’m Clare Farley, Founder of The Planning Room. I’ve recently completed a five year franchise as a Virtual Assistant, following five years running my own freelance VA business. While I no longer offer VA services, the organisational expertise, strategic thinking and operational planning developed over that decade now form the backbone of The Planning Room.

The Planning Room is an evolution and rebrand of Florence & Olive, my established wedding and event planning business. What began as a dedicated events brand has grown into a broader planning practice, bringing together my expertise in social media planning and management, life planning and lifestyle organisation, and event planning, all under one roof.

Planning has been the constant throughout my career. Long before The Planning Room had a name, I was organising weddings, delivering events, managing marketing strategies and creating systems for people who needed clarity, structure and calm in the midst of very full lives.

From family diary management and decluttering plans to gift sourcing, holiday planning and creating routines that work, our approach is tailored, calm and realistic. The goal is not perfection, but clarity and control.

Event Planning Through Florence & Olive

Events remain a core part of our offering through Florence & Olive, now a dedicated service under The Planning Room. With a Diploma in Wedding Planning and decades of experience delivering weddings, corporate events, milestone celebrations and annual awards dinners, every event is handled with precision and creative flair.

From intimate gatherings to large scale occasions, planning is meticulous, delivery is seamless, and clients are able to enjoy the experience knowing every detail has been considered.
